1.1 We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this. The Wriggly Tin Wine Co reserves the right not to accept any order.
1.2 In registering your details with us to order, a date of birth shall be requested. This is to prevent the sale of alcoholic goods to children. Your details shall be checked and verified to ensure your eligibility for the sale. The information used will shall not be used for anything other than to verify ID. This verification is requested by the local authority in order for us to operate.
1.2 The Wriggly Tin Wine Co, operates a Challenge 25 policy. Our delivery driver may require proof of age prior to alcoholic goods being handed over. If you or the person receiving your delivery are lucky enough to appear to be under 25, you will need to produce valid ID to accept your order or it will be withheld and a refund issued. The only acceptable proof of identity shall be a photographic driver’s licence, a passport or an Identity Card containing the PASS Hologram.
Description and price of the goods
2.1 The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on the Company’s Website at the time you place your order. The prices shown on the Company’s website are only applicable to sales made through the Company’s website.
2.1.1 Vintages – we try our best to ensure the vintages are accurate however sometimes vintages change without us being notified. If a specific vintage is required please not this on your order and we will do our best to ensure that this is delivered.
2.2 The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, the Company will inform you as soon as possible, and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
2.3 Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Company’s website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, the Company will inform you by email to the address provided in your order form as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel, the Company will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
2.4 In addition to the price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods, as shown during the checkout process on the Company’s website. If you do not agree with the delivery price stated during checkout then you do not have to proceed with your order.
2.5 The price of the goods and delivery charges are inclusive of VAT where stated.
2.6 Vintages – We will supply an ensuing vintage when the quoted is no longer available.
2.7 Photographs of bottles and labels are for illustrative purposes only. Packaging changes occur frequently and photographs are not always updated.
3.1 We accept Debit Card and Credit Card transactions through Stripe and Paypal. The Cards we accept are Mastercard / Visa / Visa Delta / Visa Electron / Solo / Switch / Amex/ Maestro. The goods will not be delivered until the customer’s funds that have been paid to The Wriggly Tin Wine Co have cleared in full. We also accept Paypal payments.
3.1.1 By giving us your card details you are confirming that you are the card holder or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card. Your card details will be securely stored in order to make it easier for you to place orders in the future. Your card will not be charged until the ordered goods are ready for delivery.
3.2 Your credit/ debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.
3.3 All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit and charge cards, the Company may validate the names and addresses supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to despatch your order.
3.4 Please be aware when refunds are issued, it may take several days to reappear in your account. This is completely out of our hands.
4.1 The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order.
4.2 When placing your order you may wish to contact us with instructions for delivery alternatives in case you are not in.
4.3 All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over.
4.4 If there is no one at the address who is competent to accept delivery of the goods, the recipient will either be notified of an alternative delivery day or be asked to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery.
4.5 If multiple delivery attempts are made to the provided delivery address and a competent recipient is not present to sign for the goods, or no effort is taken by the recipient to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery, the order will be returned to our warehouse. In this instance, a delivery surcharge may need to be paid by the customer in order for the goods to be re-delivered. The Company will contact you and provide you with a quote.
4.6 Every effort will be made to deliver the goods to you within 3 working days however, in rare cases, this may be as long as 10 working days. A working day is any day other than weekends and Bank or other public holidays.
4.7 The Company will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any delay in delivery.
4.8 Any shortage in delivery or non-arrival of goods must be reported to the Company within 7 days of the expected delivery date i.e. following email notification that the goods have been dispatched.
4.9 You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for risk of loss or damage to them once they have been delivered to you.
4.10 All goods must be examined and we must be notified of any breakages immediately and within two days of delivery at the latest. - Your right of cancellation
5.1 You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 14 calendar days after you receive the goods (see below) as per the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 (which superseeds the Distance Selling Regulations 2000).
5.2 To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Company by email, to [email protected] and include details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery.
5.3 If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, unless the item is defective or we have delivered the item to you in error, you must contact The Wriggly Tin Wine Co at [email protected] to arrange collection by our authorised distributor at your expense. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
5.4 Once you have notified the Company that you are cancelling the contract, the Company will refund or credit you within 14 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods from either the cancellation date, or the receipt of the returned goods if applicable.
5.5 If you do not make the goods available to our authorised distributor as required, the Company may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.
5.6 Unwanted items that arrive back to us damaged that have not been transported using our approved courier collection or drop off service will not be refunded.

6.1The Company will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless the Company is negligent, the Company will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
6.2 The Company will use the information you provide about yourself for the purpose of fulfilling your order. The Company would like to notify you of products and offers that may be of interest to you from time to time, and if you would not like to be notified of these, please email [email protected] heading your email ‘unsubscribe’. You can correct any information about you, or ask for information about you to be deleted, by giving written notice to the Company at [email protected]

- Wine Club
9.1 If you sign up for any of our wine clubs then this section shall apply.
9.2 As a member of the Club you shall receive a case of wine carefully selected by us from various countries/regions/styles approximately every 2 months.
9.3 Each Wine Club Introductory Offer can only be redeemed once and by accepting an introductory Offer, you are not entitled to any further Wine Club Introductory Offers.
9.4 When you sign up to any of our wine club’s, we will only charge you for that particular case plus £7.99 for delivery. Unless you cancel your Club membership in accordance with Clause 9.6, we will notify you approximately every 2 months that your next case of wine is ready for delivery, including the contents and the price.
9.5 You can skip or cancel any suggested case at any time by responding to our notification before the date stated on the notification. Please telephone us on 01400 230679. If we don’t hear from you, we will deliver the case of wine to the address that your last Wine Club case was deliver. You can change the delivery address by logging into your account or calling us on 01400 230679
9.6 Should you wish to cancel your membership of the Club, you may do so at any time by calling us on 01400 230679. If you wish to notify us in writing you may do so by post or emailing us at [email protected]
9.7 By registering for our wine club you consent to us holding securely through either paypal or stripe and using your payment card or PayPal details under this section for the purpose of obtaining payment for each case of wine while you are a member.
9.8 Should we change the Terms and Conditions of our wine club Club offer from time to time, we will notify you before your next case is dispatched, so no nasty surprises.
9.9 We will let you know what’s in your next case before we ship it. If you don’t tell us, before we ship your wines, that you don’t wish to receive your Wine Club case and then ask to return it, a charge of £9.99 will be payable.
10. Kings Membership
10.1 Kings is a subscription membership. By subscribing to Kings you agree to pay a minimum amount of £20 into your Kings account each month which is for you to spend on your next order.
10.2 In return for your loyalty Wriggly Tin Wine Co offer wines at a discounted price.The monthly payment will be transferred each month on the same day. You can change your payment date by contacting us on 01400230679. You will receive a statement each month detailing your account balance, so if you decide not to place an order the monthly subscription will carry forward for whenever you wish to place and order. There is no obligation to order each month.
10.3 If the value of your order is greater than your current balance you will be notified and payment will be taken from the registered card on your account prior to your order being dispatched.
10.4 Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time and any money owed to you will be refunded. You can cancel you subscription online or by calling us.
