Familia Falasco have been producing wines for over 80 years, now into their 4th generation of wine and some of the best vineyards in Mendoza they are producing some seriously good premium wines.
This wine a blend of four grapes – Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot is proof that four heads are better then one, when the ‘brotherhood’ made this wine, they knew they were on to something. So the 2016 blend has been awarded 91 Points from Tm Atkin Best of Argentina, 5 stars Harpers Wine Stars and a Silver medal 93 points 2018 Decanter World Wine awards.
Ripe black fruits, sweet spices, tobacco and mocha, mixed with fresh floral notes. A full ripe palate with notes of blackberries with a sweet firm tannic finish.
Cold maceration at 8°C for 5 days followed by fermentation at 30°C for 28 days, 100% Malolactic, aged for 15 months in first fill French oak barrels, natural clarification
