False Bay Pinotage

Wild yeast fermentation, low yielding bush vines and ageing in large French oak foudre inform this richly-fruited, yet savoury and satisfying Pinotage. Plummy aromas with a faint hit of barbecued meat. The palate is full and rich with slightly rustic yet moreish tannins and an impressively long finish.

Perfect with pork belly dish or barbecued meats, boerwurst, game or good, old fashioned sausage and mash.

The palate is lean and racy, with the fine natural acidity lending great length to the citrus flavours and a soft creamy texture from the time spent on lees.

Los Haroldos Estate Malbec

The Estate Malbec is a spiced up, more intense version of the standard Malbec. The oak ageing has given the wine an extra layer of flavour, yet it is the vibrant damson and blackberry fruit that still contribute much of the wine's character. This fabulous wine has a long flavoursome finish and is hard to beat with a joint of beef. 6 months American oak barrels.

Cline Old Vine Zinfandel Lodi

Showing a wide array of ripe almost sweet berry fruit including black cherry and strawberry. The ripe palate shows more berry fruit, as well as spice notes such as Chinese five spice, Star Annisse, and clove. The finish has gentle supple tannins.

Food match

This wine will pair very well with roast belly pork and any spicy stew or chowder.

The Last Stand Shiraz

Warm, soft and lusciously lush this is smooth black and sultry with a salty finish. Premium quality fruit and mature vines have produced a wine with great balance, length, and fruit intensity. This attractively fruity Shiraz in a cooler-climate style has concentrated mulberry and black pepper notes combined with soft plummy fruit flavours and smooth savoury tannins. This is a fresh, iron rich Shiraz on the finish and is developing beautifully!

Calmel & Joseph La Fabrique 100% Carignan. This wine comes from a solitary group of Carignan vines planted in 1890. Neither drought nor disease has managed to affect the quality of the grapes which possess a genuine local character.
