The idea to start The Wriggly Tin came following a few glasses of wine with friends around our kitchen table, I’d worked in the industry for years for a national company, a friend had a supper party coming up and wanted a selection of wines to go with her food. I advised her on what I thought would be a good choice and then offered to come along and talk about the wines and why we had chosen them, and so it began

I’m Sarah founder of the Wriggly Tin Wine Co. Married to Steve and mother of two lovely children. We live and operate our small but perfectly formed wine company from our house in rural Lincolnshire.
Our aim is simple, it’s to provide a range of wines from small producers around the world, and give you the chance to try the wines we love in the hope that you’ll love them too.
Simply put I love my job and I hope that you’ll join me on the journey!

From the beginning, Wriggly Tin has been built on three core values; expertise, passion and reliability. We pride ourselves on sourcing wines from smaller, boutique vineyards around the world. We stock unique, conversation starting tipples, as well as going the extra mile with pairings, tasting notes, and offering speedy delivery options.
We began by supplying a few friends and now we have over 350 wines in stock and sell to all corners of the UK.

So Why Wriggly Tin?
Wriggly Tin Wine came about because we had a large shed / small barn at home which we have always called the Wriggly Tin.
It was refurbished and climate control installed when we started the company in order to store the wines, and so the name seemed obvious from there.
